Great Couple + Downtown = Fun Engagement Shoot

Markus and Amanda are one of my November weddings and we spent some time together this past weekend taking their engagement pictures. They were a great deal of fun and a pleasure to be around. I can't wait to shoot their big day!!! Here are a couple of my faves from our time together.

Vintage Madness & Fabulous Friday Weather!

I've got myself a small collection of vintage chairs that I've either won through online auctions or have found in resale stores around town. I love adding a piece of unusual furniture to a photoshoot to give it an extra something to make it more original and memorable. I also love just photographing my chairs in random locations. I'm currently working on a series of images that will showcase these chairs in and around Houston.

With today's GORGEOUS weather, I thought it would be a great idea to take the two newest additions to my collection out for their first photoshoot! I drove around Kemah and Seabrook stopping at random spots that I thought would be great backdrops for my lovely little chairs. Here are my faves from today :0)

I also stumbled across a house along the way that at one point, pre-Ike, had been located on the other side of the road. I found it fascinating that through all the movement of the wind and water the steak sauce bottle managed to stay upright, undisturbed.
As always, enjoy!

The Future Mrs. O'Brien

The first wedding I booked last year is quickly approaching. The big day is June 20th and Heather and I finally got to shoot her bridals back on the 21st. She brought her mom, close friend Angie (whom I've worked for as well :0)) and her BEAUTIFUL baby girl Abby!!! Here are a few of the photos that I can release from our time together. I hope you enjoy. Heather you are FANTASTIC and you definitely are a sister from another family! LOL.

Bonnets & Babes

Andy and I took our lil bebes to Brenham for some shots in the bluebonnets. Living in Texas my entire life I've never noticed bluebonnets before. They're weeds according to my husband, but I fell in love with them! We dragged my favorite blue chair out there with us and got some great shots of the kids playing. We'll be going back next month for a full day of family fun at the Blue Bell factory and more photos in the fields! It's a shame I lost my lens cap in that darn field of yellow flowers. But man the shots I got were worth it!

These are the loves of my life....enjoy!

The baby bun from the infamous fishing pole and couch maternity shoot made her grand entrance a month ago and as promised I got to capture little miss priss's first offical newborn photos!

Hard to imagine that these pictures almost never saw the light of day. Thanks Jason and Nina for being so understanding and to my husband for saving me from my brain fart!

You guys have a BEAUTIFUL little girl and it was a delight to photograph her! Thanks for letting me stick her on a chair in my back yard and on my breakfast table. You guys allow me waaaaay too much creative freedom! Now world, meet miss Lily!!!

Fabulous Day for a Wedding

The Millers are truly two of the kindest, most sincere people I've ever met! Mr. Miller contacted me early last month about shooting a wedding for him and his sweetie and of course I was glad to accept. My assistant and I were welcomed like family and we enjoyed every minute with this fabulous couple!

Thank you Tony and Suzie for such a wonderful experience. You have blessed me greatly and I am thrilled to have had the chance to meet you and share in and capture your most special of days!!!

Lots of love to you guys and a fabulous future!
