We're Ba-ack!

We are back from a glorious trip to the gorgeous island of O'ahu!!! Hawai'i was far more than I ever expected. If FedEx would ship children...we probably would've stayed and had the kids delivered!!! It was beautiful beyond words....and I tried to capture it on film, but the pictures don't do any justice to this amazing place!!

I took 1800 pictures and am sifting through them to find the ones I want to share.....so check back in a few days and I promise to have some up in the proofing gallery for all to see!!

What a party crowd!!! Tim & Heather....you two have some pretty amazing friends. You are truly blessed to have all these great people in your lives. It was such a fulfilling experience to be with you on your special day and such an honor to capture your memories. I wish lots of love and blessings upon you two and that beautiful baby girl!!! TAACCL Open Doors Artist Reception

Last night was the reception for the artists featured at the Art Alliance of Clear Lake and I must say it was an unbelievable experience and such an honor to have my work displayed alongside the works of some oober gifted artists!! VERY HUMBLING! The photo below is of myself, Bethany of BQ Images, and Kara (2 great friends as well as very talented artists). We are standing in front of Bethany's piece that won a Juror's Choice Award. It is an amazing set of photographs and I strongly urge you go check it out! Kara had a beautiful painting (huge painting) featured as well! I promise to post photos of the pieces I personally had in the show over the next couple of days. The show runs until mid-July so if you couldn't make it out last night there's still plenty of time.

Side note: All three of my photographs in the gallery are for sale. If you are interested in purchasing please contact me via email. One of the two photographs that were on exhibit at UHCL has sold so I have the other one left to anyone who may be interested in purchasing a limited edition photograph. The asking price (frame and matt included) is $125. It is the "Garage Doors" 12"x18" photo (the "Watch Tower" (lifeguard stands) has sold). Please email me if interested.

MY Beach Boys

Andy has played volleyball for the past 17 years, both indoor and outdoor. Beach is by far my favorite arena to watch him play in. So much more emotion, not to mention the beach and the sun :0) Yesterday he played in a tournament down in Galveston with one of his former players (Andy also coaches boys volleyball and Eric was one of his guys about 7 years ago). Being their very first time to play beach together the boys finished 3rd in the tournament and will be playing in the AVP qualifier next weekend!!! Of course I just haaaaaad to take my camera along for the fun....and here are just some of the shots I was able to get.

Open Doors Series.....I GOT IN!!!!!!

Awesome news guys.....all 3 of my photographic submissions for the upcoming TAACCL exhibiton were accepted. I got the GREAT news yesterday!!!! I won't tell you which 3 got in, you'll have to come to the gallery to find that out.....but if you plan to attend the artist reception night is June 11th at 6:30. TAACCL (The Art Alliance Center of Clear Lake) is located off of Saturn and Nasa Rd 1 next to Fudruckers. There are some AMAZING works of art to be seen so it is sooooo worth the trip.
