NEW SITE! NEW SITE! 5...4...3...2...1

The new website is about to launch and I am bouncing-out-of-my-seat excited!! I outgrew the other site so quickly and wasn’t able to share nearly as many photos as I have stashed away on my external. But in 24 short hours, maybe less, the new Zasey site will be functional. A bonus….a shopping cart, so that your family can order additional photos of the portraits they like the best!!! The only thing missing at this time is the “The Fairy Tale” gallery. It is still undergoing some production work, but should be up for all to view in a few short days! Until then, please be sure to check out ALL the galleries as there are never-before-seen photos! Well, I have put in a long day today editing and fine tuning the site for its debut, so I’m off to bed. 3:00 a.m. is far too late for someone who will get a 7 a.m. wake-up call from my 2 three-foot alarm clocks :0).
Nighty, night!

Pregnant in Corpus

Jay & Peri are about to be parents!!! I was honored at their request to have me fly down to Corpus to photograph Peri in all her beautiful, pregnant glory. Their love for one another emanates from them and their laughter is contagious! Jay’s tenderness and affection for his wife poured out in these photos. They were amazing to work with and I can’t wait to be taking little Jett’s newborn photos when he arrives in just a few short weeks!!

They wanted a group photo....

Sourpuss Face....priceless!

I have had the pleasure of working for this family on two occasions and each time their little girl Emma gives me some of the most memorable faces. They are a beautiful family who adores their little girl and I always enjoy capturing their interaction with one another. I always leave with a smile.

Bridals and the Beach

I love being creative. The traditional bridal portrait is beautiful, it's classic, and above all....timeless! But as much as the traditional is beautiful, I always long to push the creative envelope and step outside the ordinary, or what is expected. I recently took two beautiful friends of mine down to Galveston for a fun and edgy bridal shoot. It was amazing all the buildings down there that offered such texture and color to what I was shooting. The people of Galveston are true warriors. I have never seen a group of people working so hard to get a city back together and better than ever. It was inspiring. Bethany was kind enough to bring her camera along with us to document me at work. I took roughly 500 pictures and narrowed those down to about 70 that I felt properly represented my work and the feel I was aiming for. Here are a few of our top pics. Enjoy!!

Sweet Little Laney-saurus

This kid has the most amazing angel face. She takes pictures with pure perfection and the amazing part is she doesn't even have to try. She makes what I do sooooo easy! I love her and her extreme curiosity!

Holy Hot Tamales!

Cristin + Archie = 3 words: HOTT HOTT HOTT!! What an amazing couple to photograph. Their passion for one another is undeniable. There was little effort on my part to capture emotion and attraction between these two. They made my job so easy. Thanks for letting me take your engagements, it was a treat!

Meet the AMAZING Bethany from BQ Images

It’s very rare you find someone who is both talented, genuine, beautiful and kind. Bethany is a very gifted photographer who encompasses all of those characteristics. I have been very blessed over the past year to be able to work with her and to call her my friend. She has been very generous in sharing her knowledge as well as lending herself to me when I needed a subject to shoot. Here are a few of my top picks from our very first shoot together. Thanks B for all your help, encouragement and support. You are a very dear friend :0)

An EXTRA Special Piece of Real Estate

I was so excited when my realtor told me she wanted me to take her maternity portraits for her. I was a little intimidated at the idea of an indoor shoot and I knew I definitely wanted to steer away from the stereotypical maternity photos you see so often. So after setting up my home as a mini-portrait studio and a few laughs later I think I really caught some beautiful images. Hope you like ‘em.

Two Words......ALL BOY!

Oh Kyle, Kyle, Kyle.....your poor momma! This little man is the son of my truest and dearest friend. I had just bought my camera and was starting this new business venture when I asked if this good looking guy could be one of my first subjects. We had a lot of fun at the park and caught Kyle in all his curious wonder! Love you Jenn and your little monster :0)
