Rock Concert Madness & a less than adequate camera....

Well it seems I'm on this concert kick lately....Britney Spears in September, Shinedown a week ago, Rob Zombie mid November and Breaking Benjamin in San Antonio for my birthday. I brought along my mini digital elph (they don't allow "big girl" cameras into venues) to the Shinedown show at Verizon Wireless last week thinking I'd just try to grab a few shots of the band and then spend the rest of the evening rockin' out to the music. Well once I clicked the shutter button the madness ensued. Like a junkie, I couldn't stop taking pictures. Then I found it a challenge to get the "perfect" shot, tough to do with a little point and shoot, and then continued to attempt to get a shot of the elusive guitarist. In my frustration with my less than adequate camera I decided to purchase a more advanced point and shoot for the sole purpose of taking it into concerts and getting band photographs. So needless to say I will be in a full photo frenzy at the show on the 11th. I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite shots from the concert. They are by no means "professional" as I did the best I could with what I had to work with. I'm looking forward to the challenges and results from the next event and most of all to sharing those with you :0)

Enjoy!

p.s. as expected, this concert ROCKED! We were about 6 feet from the stage!
